A bus can be taken from Lutwyche Road near The Windsor directly into the RBWH, without needing to change buses.

Approximately 2 Minutes by Taxi or Rideshare
RBWH is also only a very short taxi (e.g. 132227) or rideshare trip from The Windsor.
Depending on traffic and the particular hospital entrance required, the journey is approximately two minutes.
For guests attending very early appointments, returning after treatment or travelling with luggage, this can be the easiest option.
PTSS Accommodation Near RBWH
We Accept Approved Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme Accommodation
The Windsor welcomes eligible guests travelling under Queensland’s Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS).
PTSS is a Queensland Government scheme designed to help eligible Queensland patients who need to travel away from home to access specialist medical services that are not available locally.
Depending on approval, assistance may be available for travel, commercial accommodation and an approved escort or carer. The scheme is administered through Queensland Health, and eligibility and the number of approved accommodation nights are determined by the patient’s relevant Hospital and Health Service. Guests intending to use PTSS need to advise their local Queensland Health hospital or PTSS travel office that they are staying at The Windsor.

Options range from 70 m² to 90 m², with a choice of Windsor views, balconies, corner balconies and Brisbane city skyline views.
Separate bedrooms allow patients and carers to have privacy while still staying together in the same accommodation.
Three Bedroom Apartments – Up to 115 m²
For larger families, our three bedroom apartments offer substantial space close to the hospital.
Choose between a 97 m² Windsor View apartment with sunset outlook and a 115 m² City Skyline View apartment.
Both offer three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate laundry.
They can be particularly practical when several family members want to remain together while supporting someone receiving hospital treatment.
A Comfortable Place to Return to After the Hospital
